Mikri Vigla (South side)

Mikri Vigla is located on the South – West of Naxos island and less than 17 Km from Chora. The cape of Mikri Vigla (small watchtower), used by pirates during the Frankish Empire, is famous for the endless golden sand beach of Mikri Vigla that goes into the crystal clear blue waters of Naxos.

Sahara beach (Mikri Vigla’s local name) is ideal for swimming and diving cause is protected from strong winds. Several taverns are spread throughout the region serving local traditional cuisine.
